Having always loved drawing and painting, somewhat late in life I studied Fine Art at Hereford College of Art and Design.  I had previously gained Diplomas in Specialist Paint Finishes and Furniture Design.

I now spend my working days in my Studio, the floor of which is covered in paint that has trickled off the canvas  and the wonderful smell of oil paint in the air.

I work in fits and starts,frequently turning the canvas to the wall when I am unhappy with how the work is going. 

Sooner or later I retrieve the canvas and throw myself once again at it, mostly to a satisfying conclusion.
